The deadline to register to vote in Mississippi has passed — it was May 9. But if you are heading to the polls today in the state, here’s what to know:

You can find out if you’re registered to vote on this site by entering your full name, date of birth, county and the last four digits of your Social Security number.

Use this site to find a polling place near you. Polls close at 7 p.m. local time.

Absentee ballots must be postmarked by Election Day and received within five business days of the election to be counted, according to this guide to absentee voting.

There are primaries in several of the state’s congressional districts. Depending where you live, there may also be local contests. Use this site to look up what is on your ballot.
