Jeremy Corbyn tackles PM on climate change and Middle East peace plan
He says the effects of climate change have been felt across the globe, and despite pledging to eliminate carbon emissions by 2050, says the government is only on course to achieve this by the end of the century.
The Labour leader says he’s voted against every proposal to tackle climate change until he became prime minister.
He also says Donald Trump’s plan with Israel is “not a peace plan” and rather an annexation, with no Palestinian support. “There needs to be a two-state solution with international support,” he says.
Johnson says no peace plan is perfect, and urges Corbyn “to get talking, rather than leading a political vacuum”.
